Dye white (or other colors, for that matter :) in the grease--you'll get
a wonderful range of tints of the main color, or if you blended colors
in the dyebath, some parts of each staple will be tints of one color,
other parts the other color.  I've had some staples exhibit as many as 5
colors from cut end to tip.

Sometimes it's too pretty to spin :)
