Hi I'm planning a multiple project warp and would like some advice from you wise ones..... I want to weave some placemats, so have threaded a monksbelt pattern, but also have some handspun cotton crying out to be a shirt, so will do this in plainweave. I'm thinking I'll just add width to the warp by threading some extra heddles in plainweave, weighting them off the back of the loom. Any advice? Thought for once I'd ask before I get into the thick of it. Thanks for any help.
