what a nice idea! I think anyone getting that would love a pattern to go along with it, makes you want to start a project right away!! I'm not sure what kinds of patterns you're looking for but a nice easy sock pattern or even a dishcloth pattern would be very welcome as those are very popular & also small enough for even a beginner to start right in using. If you type in www.socknitters.com you'll get loads of free sock patterns & also sock classes for the brand spanking new sock knitter!! or just type in knitting patterns or even just facecloths or dishcloths.... I have a bunch that I saved if you don't have any luck & you're more than welcome to them!
