Knitting class

I taught a knitting class and had everyone koolaid dye the yarn yarn 
before thy started knitting.  I had several pots of colors and they 
dipped an end in one pot, and another end in another color.  Everyone 
loved it and had great yarn multicolored yarn.    My class ranged from a 
12 year old, to adults.  We made 2 needle mittens, and then socks.  With 
the mittens, then learned all the basics of knitting and were ready to 
make socks in the second section.  But I think that 2 needle socks would 
be more appropriate to CA and the kids would love them.  
   I bought the yarn from  Bovidaie Farm in NC-- Rose and Jim Hague at

satisfied customer). If you are a teacher and buying a case of yarn, 
they will probably make you a deal.  They raise their own lambs and 
have the fleece  processed without acid, so the yarn is wonderful to 
work with.
