If weaving with acrylic fibers, it is best used in the weft as it is so stretchy. If you just have to use it in the warp, keep the warp tension looser than you would for a natural fiber and use a light beat. Then, when you take it off the loom and it "springs" back into shape, it won't be woven too tight. You will have to sample to get a good tension/beat combination.
Next, if you wet finish by throwing it in the washer and dryer, remember that heat will make acrylic "grow" and stretch.


Personally, I'd use it in knitting or pass it on to a knitter. I freely admit I'm an acrylic prude and overly opinionated so take all this with a grain of salt ;o)
