Wow, that's who (and where) I bought my wheel from....in 1988 :) So Sue is still collecting wheels to sell? She was so nice, and has a wonderful memory for faces--she remembered me each year I stopped by her booth after that, whether at the NW S&W or the NH Fiber Arts Tour. <<It's taken over the dining room. We'll see what happens once we get our dining room table.>> Then your apartment is larger than ours was <g> We didn't have a dining room! My wheel lived in the living room (where else?), in front of a small bookcase, wedged between the chair and the TV, across from the couch (almost within touching distance of people on the couch). I had a basket of precarded moorit merino wool in front of the wheel one day, in preparation for handcarding. Someone came over, and did a doubletake. His first impression was of little worms, because the sunbleached tips of each lock suggested heads :) Holly who still enjoys spinning on spindle wheels To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
