The question on use of Bluefaced Leicester fiber..... We raise BFL in central Ohio and I am a spinner and knitter (wanta be weaver). The BFL fiber is wonderful to spin, a long fiber that is exceptionally soft. I have made hats, mittens, socks and shawls from it. The other nice fleece that I like to spin is a cross between Corridale and BFL. Just got done spinning a cross of Lincoln and BFL - not so pleased with this combination for my purposes as the result is not as soft a yarn.
