My favourite celtic artist is Loreena Mckennit.......interesting how
spinners tend to enjoy this type of music.

For those of you who enjoy Celtic music, I'd like to
recommend Suas e! by Mary Jane Lamond. She has taken
Celtic melodies and reworked them in a more modern
style, but she has included on her tracks a waulking
song done while working, sounds of a spinning wheel
and a loom as percussion on a couple of tracks, and a
few songs sung in a more traditional manner. Pretty
much all in Gaelic as well. Good voice, and good
music.
