Howard Brush in Rhode Island (they advertise in Interweave Publications) 
seems to be the lone example.
Peter Wolters, where my husband once worked, stopped making carding 
cloth when their ancient machines gave out, and sold their wire works 
to China.
We've heard that the manufacture of these products is now somewhere 
in Asia, no longer in Northa America or Europe.
