Dear all,

I have a bit of experience with yak. One amount I got was fairly easy to spin, but better with a blend of wool. The next lot, from a different place, was dreadful and almost impossible to work with. I do not know where the rest of this went. I now have a 3rd batch, as yet untried. It is available here in Canada in some places. Maybe I should just go and do a test sample. Tricia

very durable. For slippers and bags we have found a mix of 20-25% yak
wool and 75-80% regular sheep wool to give good results.
