I long ago dropped all my subscriptions especially as the exchange rate was not exactly kind to a limited pocketbook :-( however with the event of the Internet and lots of inspiration both onlists and on various websites I have more than made up for the loss of zines. I'm known quite well at the Guild when the librarian stands up to tell us about new issues that my "hand" will be first up! And then the librarian issues it to me and brings it personally into SETS as by then I've ummmm forgotten I wanted it as I'm busy with other Guild things.

When I needed some help to create "seersucker" fabric I turned to online weaving friends and I'm still having fun creating "puckers" with differential shrinkage. To hopefully a market in my own country. Still developing things but each warp leads me closer to something else or at times to "well this isn't gonna work, is it Cathy" http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/tuatara51/my_photos click on Current WIP if you are interested.

the latest sample warp is not in the album yet however let's just say "some yarns are not what they seem" and when I was beaming it on a stray thought crossed my mind but it was too late to rectify and anyway "what if it should work?" :-) it worked but in quite a differential shrinkage way that could be useful in the future.........
