I have not been sewing much either as the fabric stores do not have
fabric I wish to use. When I see something that looks good, I buy it.
I got 11metres of a linen/rayon in natural and have dyed two pieces of
it which made it look very vibrant. I have just been looking at it so
far. I also got a heavy tencel/cotton twill which I will also dye and
either make a pair of jeans or heavy skirt or jacket. I make simple
items usually because I am usually ready for something quick for a
special event. I find I am using my own handwoven fabric to make
clothing, or maybe something I have felted. I still depend on my mother
for my sweaters, but she is in her eighties and will not be here
forever. Knitting, I have difficulty finishing the articles.

Strangely, I have been
sewing less as the local stores only sell cheap materials like poly fleece.
Luckily I still have my stash which will probably last the rest of my
working life.
