What I want to ask the list, though, is how do some of you manage TIME - you know, 24 hrs a day, to have enough hours to do significant creative projects! I find this hard to do. I am retired and get involved in too much volunteer activity - that is my problem, I know. But I would really like to have some discussion about time management, priority setting and all that.
I too have a time & project management problem! In many areas I have been very disorganized my whole life. But I have found help at www.flylady.com and things are getting better every day. For a long time I bought tons of fiber and it has been stashed in two large wooden boxes, one is 2 ft x 2 ft x 4 ft! The other is not quite so big. So I have two goals for this year. One is a moratorium on fiber buying. I will not buy anything until I have spun up and used everything I have. In addition to all the wool in the two boxes I have 3 stricks of flax, a couple pounds of ramie and 5 pounds of Fox Fibre cotton. Due to neck, shoulder and elbow injuries I cannot spin too long at a time, so the wheel is set up at all times and I just spin daily until my shoulder begins to ache. Then I quit. Slow going, but at least it is going. The other project is that right now I'm knitting up all my natural dye samples into a colorful sweater. mairi To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
