I finally got it!!! Made an Akha spindle that really spins. Shaft 9" long 1/4" dowel. Whorl 2" toy wheel placed 4.25" from the bottom. T notch at the top and sharpened a bit at the bottom. Thanks to all for suggestions. Anita
