Has anyone tried to make the baskets from homespun yarn that were
featured in Spin-off a couple of issues ago?
Years -(many years) ago there was an article in Sunset magazine that
featured a pattern for crocheted baskets, made from worsted-weight yarn
using a mosaic-type technique, that wound up looking remarkably like
Southwest Indian pottery bowls. I made a few and really liked them.
Hmmm... bet I still have the pattern somewhere - deep in the bowels of
the 'stash room'.
