Thank you for all of the advice. I am excited to see what we get this
spring. We raise our own pigs, turkeys, chickens for meat. The flock
has been mainly
for spinning for years until we got our ram this past spring. So the
adventure to lambs will be a new one for us. We have had baby goats
but never lambs.
Raising our own meat is just part of what we do and I do not get attached to
the animals that are leaving us. Does anyone find it harder with the lambs
than say a pig or turkey? I love my sheep but I know we can't keep
them all and
lamb will be a nice change from pork and poultry.
