For whatever it's worth, I have not gotten ANY of the special characters properly.
Although some of you seem to be seeing the degree symbol properly in the message title, I see: ?iso-8859-1?Q?_=A2_: _=22=B0=22__Computer_display_of_=22degree=22_symbol?= But that may be because it's actually in the message body (yes, really) since I get the digest instead of individual messages. Ron, your Swedish characters didn't come through for me either. Meanwhile, to make this on-topic: I have nine pounds of lovely, luscious mohair (six white for dyeing, three a delightful silver gray; three of the white actually go to someone else, but for now they're here with me!) and a beautiful 3.5-pound cinnamon hogget Shetland fleece. All washed and ready to spin (the person I bought them from sent them to Zeilinger's, no affiliaition, just my comment on some beautiful work). Yum. Now, if I could just finish spinning the untold quantities of silk/cotton blend that I got a few thousand years ago at Maryland Sheep and Wool, and that I swear has been breeding in the closet; every time I think I've got the last bagful, I find more.
