needlework, music, food, demonstrations. All this and more at the second
"Fiber Arts and More," Saturday, April 29, 2006, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., The
Center on the Common, Clifton Park (near Albany), New York. Bring a
wheel or a drop spindle, and admission is free ($5 otherwise); children
12 and under free.
Some of the "more" will be Elihu Farm fleeces, farm fresh eggs, and cuts
of lamb.
In and around the Shenendehowa Senior Center, 6 Clifton Common Court,
518-383-1343. Organized in cooperation with the RocDay Spinning Guild.
Proceeds, including 10% of vendor gross, benefit the Senior Center.
Directions, Take Exit 9 of the Northway (I-87, about 10 miles north of
the Albany area). At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Route 146.
Continue on Route 146, past shopping centers, to Vischer Ferry Road.
Turn left on Clifton Common Blvd, and right on Clifton Common Court.
