Only you would think to refine a search to wet wool calorie. :) Would there be 
a wet cottone calori, as well, I wonder? Something to do, after I finish this.

I'm thinking that EZ jumped to the conclusion that the wet wool must be 
releasing heat, in order for her husband's feet to remain warm. Wool can retain 
body heat, etc. etc. 

As for wool releasing 27 calories of heat, well, I'm gonna go do some looking 
at other fiber. I'm thinking that all of them may give off some heat, as they 
dry. But why??? Er, how????
