Well, I called Schacht. The spinning wheel expert was on another line. She 
called right back. 

It would seem that, er, um, ahem <red faced>, that it was operator error. I 
didn't have the bobbin on the flyer, in the proper position for double drive 
spinning.

Schacht--a class act. Great customer support. I can send my flyer, and all my 
bobbins to them. For a mere $5, to cover return postage, they will check the 
bobbins, and ream them out, if necessary. They will also check all the bobbins 
on my flyer, to make sure that they spin w/o a problem. I just have to send 
them my flyer and all my bobbins. <choke>

I can't say enough kind things about Schacht. The usual disclaimers.
