Remember folks that all the chemicals you're talking about create soap when mixed with the lanolin in the fleece.This is why the grease is removed. They will also make the fiber brittle and this breed is of a coarser micron, no matter how soft it feels. The chemicals we use in the mill are bio degradable and do not make the fleece brittle.
