I'm assuming you're asking if machine knitting is
easier than handknitting?

It's a different sort of movement - you have to run a
carriage back and forth, which involves your arms and
torso. It does require some strength to do large
pieces, heavy yarn, stiff tension, etc. It's also hard
to leave a piece midway through because it will
stretch if left to hang off the needles. It's a PITA
to take things off the needle bed and put it back on.
Because I rarely have large chunks of time, I rarely
mk anymore.
