On searching for "RoboMaid" with Vivisimo, I found much
discussion. One person said that he purchased it as a cat
toy -- the cats lost interest after the first day, but he
was pleasantly surprised to discover that it actually does
clean.

Another person pointed out that the RoboMaid *is* a cat toy
-- often sold with a tail instead of a Swiffer, under the
name Weasel Ball or Weazel Ball. He said that the
softball-engine of his RoboMaid has a pair of hooks for
attaching a tail. (I wonder whether someone got the idea
because the tail on his Weasel Ball needed frequent cleaning?)

Other folks said that the cleaning rags are washable, and
that you can cut your own out of cheaper locally-available
cleaning rags.

But lots and lots of people said that scam websites find
such a cheap self-propelled dust mop to be a royal bonanza;
one fellow said that he paid ten dollars for his RoboMaid,
but the shipping charges were highly inflated, and he was
tricked into ticking a box that put an extra fifty-six
dollar charge on his credit-card bill.
