I am both a charter subscriber and a contributor to PieceWork Magazine. I agree that the earlier issues were better -- more scholarly and dealt more with the interrelation of needlework, culture and history, and some really unusual needlework techniques. Now it seems to be full of how-to-do-it projects, and one can find those anywhere. The current issue, however, isn't embroidery but all knitting. Jane Jane Reid [EMAIL PROTECTED]
