I just received a copy of a little book I ordered from David Brown/Oxbow
books from British archaeologist John Peter Wild - "Textiles in Archaeology"
part of a series called Shire Archaeology (Shire Publications).
Precious book - short, and covers what is known about textile finds,
conditions, equipment (with dates) so you get a picture of development of
textile tools and where what is found. Price only $10 plus shipping - a good
quick read and very interesting.
