I have one right now that looks like we sheared her around the middle down to the tummy. He lamb keeps digging at her. I think he wants her to get up so he can have a drink and she won't. So he makes bald spots. We have one or two like this every year. The lambs are never small ones that are starving. Their mothers just ignore them and keep chewing there cuds.
