Curved-back carders are great; I have a pair of Clemes & Clemes "student"
cards (1/3 smaller than regular cards) that will only be pried out of my
cold, dead fingers. ;-) Unfortunately, Clemes & Clemes is now out of
business (along with most of the other fiber-related businesses in the SF
Bay Area), so you may have to look for a pair on either the Housecleaning
Pages, or on eBay.

I also have a set of old-fashioned Howard flat-back cards, and they also do
a nice job, once I got used to them. They're right around $50/pr.
