Or, if you belong to a mailing list hosted by one of the
free services, you can start a mailing list devoted to
yourself and post your photos in the files area.  If you
don't have to create an account, it's easier than opening an
LJ account, and you can organize your photos.  But make sure
your list has open archives so people won't have to join to
look at the photos.

I haven't done this since switching to access that included
a web site I could actually upload stuff to, so the rules may have changed.

(Global One, now Global 2000, provided server space but wouldn't tell me how to get at it. My current provider lets me use WS_FTP, which is so easy I use my web site to back up my diary.)
