Hi, Holly. You've been a busy camper. I love your site and the information you so freely share.
As for my current fibery projects: Spinning some alpaca that I bought from a friend's farm. Knitting on a Norwegian cardigan in the Ethnic Knittin Discovery KAL run by Donna Druchunas. I've never steeked and so I figured it would be nice to do with the author standing by to hold my hand. Knitting the Wing of the Moth shawl from Knitspot using my handspun/carded mix(mess?) of 2 differnet alpacas, 2 different wools, 1 part silk and 1 part mohair. Interesting thing. My BIG news is my used 60" 16-shaft mechanical dobby/compudobby I with misc. stuff that the previous owner had on it from AVL got put on the truck in California on Friday and should be here within a week. WooHoo! I can hardly wait. That's all from me. I got all the luxury fibers spun up before I started working on the website, did a gauge swatch late last month, and cast on 220 stitches, then picked up the additional 220. .
