After selecting "Disable" be sure the box to delete all your messages is 
checked so your archives can be removed.

This is no longer a workable solution. Grouply figured out how easy it 
was for a listowner to target the Grouply.com addresses and recently 
began offering members the option of using their primary e-mail 
addresses. At present, there is no way to identify members who may 
belong to Grouply if they are using their usual e-mail address.

Trying to track down members individually is not the way to protect a 
list. It must be opted-out at the source, using the link above. After 
that, any member of a YG list who also belongs to Grouply will be unable 
to include that list on its Grouply list of YG memberships and any 
Grouply member who tries to access that YG list will be told that the 
list is inaccessible at owner's request.

That's as good as it's going to get :-(
