You've not gonna believe this........but a 'chook' in NZ is the local slang 
word for a chicken/fowl........in fact you never say I have a fowl farm but 
rather a chook farm. You also buy eggs but if someone wants you to qualify 
which sort you say chook! OK just about everything is also a chicken whether 
it's a day old chicken or a bird for the roaster.......the business world 
refers to either free-range chickens or battery hens.

who has now handcarded up all the brightly dyed Romney fleece she dyed a few 
years ago.....which is one of my winter projects for 08. I suddenly a month 
+ ago became the 'home alone' personage when my long time flatmate moved out 
and I have a huge house to rejuvenate etc..........
