Those of you who live in or travel to the Great Lakes region might be
interested in attending the Northern Michigan Lamb & Wool Festival this
fall. It's on a really beautiful fairgrounds, small and intimate in
scale, but with plenty of vendors to keep you shopping and a decent
array of classes. And the dates, September 27 & 28 this year, guarantee
gorgeous fall color on those big old maples.

PLUS we have something no other festival has in my experience: A
Hospitality area that stages contests, demos, informal quick lessons in
spinning, a charity knit-in, and plenty of space to sit back, eat lunch,
show off your purchases, meet friends, make new friends, and otherwise
relax...before shopping again!

This year's show in Hospitality (no cost to enter) is SWEATERS. If
you've got one on the needles, are making one out of handwoven cloth,
even crocheted or felted or some of all of the above, bring it in on a
hanger by 10 am on Saturday, and take a chance at a prize in one of 5
categories. We get some truly beautiful work up here!

If you're interested in anything regarding the Friendliest Little Fiber
Festival Around, let me know, I'll be glad to answer your questions :)
