Hi, Lynn :) The warp was sized before weaving, which in my case
involves soaking in a gelatin mixture, then hanging to dry without
blocking. Most of the weft was soaked in plain water, and hung to dry
without blocking.

Bottom line: crisp-handling wools shrink a lot, and very easily :)

The only 'blow' is that my daughter is somewhat disappointed at the
finished size. But the Perendale lady does, indeed, have lots of
fleeces for sale, so the next blanket will be a bit more predictable!
Her name is Marta Sullivan, and her email is
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, and she responded very quickly to my
enquiry. But give me a chance to pick out a couple white fleeces first :)

Holly
