but the crispness also was an early manufacturing problem with some of the 
yarns, Perendale in NZ for one was in that category. Either it was the sheep 
breeders or the machinery that was modified so that it became easier to wear

Last night on TV1 - Country Calendar was about a mid-micron sheep breed 
having it's fleece count upgraded to I think Puretex which in turn is now 
being used to make baby blankets under I think the Cariboo brand.....
