I simply implied that consistency in a flock, whatever the size, is a 
positive thing - for buyers interested in knowing in advance approximately 
what the fiber will be like. That in no way says that a consistent herd is 
only for "commercial" people - it applies to all who keep sheep.
Mutt fleeces may be interesting, but produce mostly non-repeatable results, 
leading to much frustration on the part of the spinner.
