Jennifer You mention needing a longer stick shuttle. Do you have a yardstick or two around that could be cut down to the size you need and the ends carved out to hold the yarn? That is what I do. I collect those free ones that are given out at holidays and fairs, etc. Easy to work and you have the bonus of a bit of measure if needed.
