While cutting down a yardstick, etc. produces a quick stick shuttle, taking 
a bit of time to finish it properly make an immense difference. Cutouts are 
not cutouts - to get the yarn to unwind nicely, it should be a somewhat 
closed circle and beveled slightly top to bottom, and sanded smoothly.
