Sheep (including ours), alpacas, angora rabbits, angora goats. http://www.washingtoncountyfibertour.org We’re only half a day’s drive from western Connecticut, New York City, and the Syracuse/Rochester NY areas. It's also an ideal event for people close to Albany and Saratoga Springs, NY, the southern Adirondacks, Bennington and Manchester, VT, and Williamstown MA, and the Hudson and Mohawk River Valleys. Washington County is one of the most rural in eastern New York. Think about what the land was like when Grandma Moses painted the landscape of Washington and nearby counties. Thanks to a vigorous farming community, the land looks today much like it did 'back then.' Won't you join us for a wonderful day!
