I'm excited to learn about the upcoming new FS. I have two informal requests:
1. It would be nice if it would support the BSD searchfs (CatalogSearch) operation, or something similar on macOS. 2. I'm maintaining a disk sector editor (iBored, http://apps.tempel.org/iBored/), which has even enabled the detection of an OS X security flaw a few years ago. I'd be happy to update its templates file to support the new disk and volume format.
