I have just added a 5000 dpi drum scan to my long investigation
of some noise I was seeing with 2 out of 3 scanning programs at
4000 dpi on the ss4k. See the last 2 images on

for the 4000->5000 difference. I think the drum scan shows the
Polaroid in a good light.
