Matt,

My comments when they go out to the entire list, just as yours did, were 
intended to be informative (to all), and were not intended to be an insult 
directed to you.  (perhaps I should have used "one" in place of "you";  for 
that, I apologize).  I assume that there are people out there trying to 
make a decision about what program to use (or add to  their arsenal), and 
as I said in a separate post to Jari W.: "My point is that the only way (in 
my opinion) to know how a program works (and if it fits your particular 
method of engraving) is to live with it for a few weeks (or longer!).  I 
find both Finale (especially for its flexibility and power) and Sibelius 
useful for different reasons and would not be without either program."

That's my point.: I do not think analyzing a program (or its deficiencies) 
via e-mail is a good idea.  An extended hands-on experience is the only way 
(in my opinion!) that one can truly decide that a program--with both its 
strengths and weaknesses exposed on your screen-- is for you.
