All the posts I've been getting have the above footer attached to them,
which is exactly what you need for configuring your subscription.
However, in my experience, mailman requires a password, and I've never
set a password on my Finale subscription. The last time a mailing list
that I was on converted to mailman, I had to contact the list owner to be
able to change my account settings, because only he knew what my password
was.
Also, good email programs give you access to the subscription headers.
Mine, Pegasus Mail, includes this at the top of any mailing list post
that has subscription headers:
[ Double-click this line for list subscription options ]
That takes me to the web page for configuring my subscription.
