Listsibs: I am stumped; maybe you can help. In Fin2K, running on Windows 2nd edition, I created a file of the Parry's setting (tune: Jerusalem) of lyrics by William Blake. These are three staff systems, but as of now, only the top (voice) staff has any entries. Got everything edited to the way I wanted, and printed a test copy to my printer. Looked good.
Wanted to send the output to someone else as a ~.pdf, so I did as I usually do, using the the postcript driver for the HP 5/5M, printed to file, and opened in Ghostview, to generate the ~.pdf. After conversion, found three instances of four where the word "bring" shows on both the ~.pdf and ~.ps files as "brin". The 'g' is inexplicably missing. from word at three places in the ~.prn file, but not the fourth, and in at least one case, the syllable immediately preceding one of the instances where "bring" is missing the "g" also ends in "ing", and the "g" is present there. Went back and consulted the finale source file: all of the "g"s are where they are supposed to be. Anyone have a clue why these three 'g's might be being edited out of the file? [I'll gladly make the ~.mus, ~.prn and ~.pdf files available to anyone who might be able to help answer the question.... ns _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
