I'll tell you you should probably upgrade them both. But if you must choose one, I'll say upgrade the Windows one simply because I know what a great advantage has come with the past three upgrades on the Windows platform. Not knowing what's up in the Mac world because I don't use a Mac I'll leave it to others to speak up for that platform.
But probably once you upgrade on one you'll want to upgrade on the other! And thanks for the compliment -- you do make one's head swell!
