This may sound trivial, but do you actually have the correct drivers installed for your sound card? Windows often recognizes a sound card's chip set and installs compatible drivers, but they will not always use all your sound card's possibilities. The default SB Live! drivers, for example, enable only one synth output, while the Creative drivers enable *two* separate synth outputs. Something similar might be the case with your setup. > I have not the faintest idea how to tell Windows XP to input midi, (or to > do anything else for that matter) in fact Windows XP seems to speak a > different language from anything I have ever come across. I'm not sure where you find that info precisely, since I'm sticking with Win2k, but I guess that something like "Configuration panel -> Multimedia" is still available somewhere? _____________________ Patrick Hubers [EMAIL PROTECTED] Solve IT Postbus 5063 3502 JB Utrecht _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
