You didn't mention how you had set up playback previously. If it's Midi, I'd suggest to check Finale's Midi Setup/Thru dialogs. If it's QuickTime I believe you'll have to downgrade to something like version 4. Johannes Gebauer can tell you exactly what is required. Also, you did keep your preferences in the Finale Folder right??
