That is a printer issue, not a finale issue.  On my HP2100M, all the 
lines, beams, flags, noteheads, everything prints equally black.  On my 
Deskjet1000Cse, everything also prints equally black.  It has with every 
version of Finale I have used.  Even on other printers I have had before 
these.
