OTOH, Apple has been very good about accommodating older CDRW drives (albeit slow). Hoping there will be some positive spinoffs for Midi as well. I mean if Steve Jobs wants the System Preferences to sort of act like the old OS 6 Control Panels, we might be in for a new OS X style Midi Manager. I much preferred it to to OMS anyway...
