Sorry about the off-topic post, but I don't have anyone else to ask: My dad's computer blew up this morning and we urgently need to replace it. For various reasons we want to get one with Windows XP, but we are not sure whether his Word 97 will run on XP or whether we also need to get Word 2000.
Will Word 97 install and run without problems on an XP machine? (Word 97 does all he needs, but he will use it a lot.)
