Whenever I'm working on a database in Filemaker, I often think that it would be great if Finale could somehow work like a database as far as score and parts go. In Filemaker, the data is usually entered in some kind of a data entry layout, but you can create as many different layouts as you want to view the data, in whole or whatever portion you wish to display. Any change you make to the data in any of the layouts is automatically reflected in the other layouts, since each layout is just a different "view" of the same data. MOTU's Mosaic was kind of along these lines - maybe it's too hard with music and that's why that program was basically abandoned.
